Wrapping Six Scania Trucks in Record Time

At Mikas Design, we thrive on challenges, and our latest project was a true test of our team’s skills and efficiency. Wrapping six new Scania trucks with a full color change and intricate graphics within a tight timeframe pushed us to our limits and showcased our commitment to excellence.

The Challenge

Our mission was to transform six brand-new Scania trucks from their standard white color to a vibrant blue and then apply detailed cut vinyl graphics. With only two days allocated for each truck, there was no room for delays or second guesses. To tackle this monumental task, we needed to use every resource at our disposal and work with precision.

The Process

Color Change and Graphic Application

The first step was to change the base color of each truck from white to blue. This involved a meticulous process of preparing and applying a full vinyl wrap to cover the entire truck. Once the new color was in place, our team set to work on applying the cut vinyl graphics, which required careful alignment and placement to ensure that the finished result was both striking and professional.

Scaling the Heights

Given the massive size of the Scania trucks, reaching every part of the vehicle was a challenge in itself. To ensure we could cover every inch, we used scaffolding and ladders to access the higher sections of the trucks. This required a well-coordinated effort from our team to maintain safety and ensure the wrap was applied flawlessly.

The Result

Despite the tight deadline and the complexity of the project, our team delivered exceptional results. Each of the six Scania trucks was transformed with a stunning new blue finish and expertly applied graphics, ready to hit the road with a fresh, eye-catching look. The success of this project is a testament to our team’s dedication, skill, and ability to perform under pressure.
